Amazon Affiliate Links

Since I’m a big fan of transparency, I thought I would explain the affiliate links on this website.

Whenever I link to a product on Amazon, the URL is encoded with an affiliate link. This means that if you decide to purchase the piece of hardware I’m writing about, I make a small percent of money from the transaction. This does not increase the cost you pay for the equipment.

What do I do with that money? I buy more hardware to write about, of course! Thanks to the purchases made by my readers, I’ve been able to fund an FM Transmitter, Wireless Cards / SD cards / GPS / Bluetooth for my Raspberry Pi / Node.js hardware suite, and most recently, an Arduino with jumper wires and a breadboard.

So if you’re not a fan of affiliate links, don’t click them or google search for the product name. If you’re a fan of my hardware reviews and open source code, please keep clicking (-;

Also, just in case you are concerned, I will never falsely say that a product or service is better than it actually is for the sake of getting you to purchase said product.
