Raspberry Pi SDHC Card

I’m buying the Transcend 8GB Class 10 SDHC Flash Memory Card as it is listed as a compatible SD card.

It is a class 10 card with 8GB of storage, which should make it the perfect device (if you think you need more than 8GB of storage, you should probably be storing data on an external USB drive).

  1. And nobody will ever need more than 64K of RAM.

8GB of storage is nothing these days. For an AI application w/ a RPi, I’d want to stuff all the memory I could in the smallest footprint possibility. Definitely making the max use of the only SDHC slot provided. I’d load a 256GB card if I could justify the cost, and may yet do so, if my project is successful. Just wish the Pi had a 802.11 b/g/n onboard. and a flatter profile.

    • I wasn’t saying someone wouldn’t want more than 8GB. I was saying one would want to buy a USB drive for storage, which is faster and cheaper than SD.
