  1. I love your theme but my website needs to allow nested pages. Any way you could make that happen? KTHNXBYE :D

  2. Hey, really like the theme. Simple and one-column was what I was looking for.

You mentioned the hierarchical pages display linearly. Mine don’t display at all. Parent pages appear in the navigation, but when creating a sub-page, a link to it doesn’t appear anywhere in the theme.

Is this by design? If so, I’ll look to hatch out a way to prevent the parent page option from displaying in the editor.

    Thanks.

    • By design, all sub-pages are hidden (in the CSS). This was done because the navigation is a horizontal line, and a lot of sites have stuff in the top level pages, which end up linking to the lower level pages anyway.

You may be able to easily reverse this using CSS child selectors, but it would be a headache…

If you click the link above your comment, it goes to a WordPress plugin which creates a dropdown menu from your subpages, it might take care of what you’re trying to accomplish.

  4. Hey, nice theme. I was looking for something clean for a forum page and coupled with the theme per post plugin it looks like this will do the trick.

By the way, the 404.php has an opening h1 tag but closing h2. No biggie but thought I’d point it out.

  5. Hi!

Is it possible to fix this theme for IE6? Unfortunately, the navigation menu is broken under IE6.

    Thanks!

  6. Is it possible to remove the search bar? Can I also remove the dividers between the three columns in the footer? (although they are very nice looking) I’m pretty sure we’ll only want one column in the footer and would like it to be the third column. Thanks.

  9. Is there a way to make more room for the Title text?

    • Yeah, just shrink the search div and increase the heading h1′s width.

      • Thanks for the reply. I have the Heading expanded over more now, but then the search box and tab go down into the white part. Is there a way to get rid of the search box all together?

  10. Great work, this theme is exactly what I was looking for. The only point for me is the 3 bar widget support, I really need that feature! There is a release date set already for the next update? Thanks and keep the good work!

  11. How do I change the colours of the page headings?

    Reply
    • Open style.css, go to line 172, and add a color declaration in there. The color is being taken from all links but that line will override the color.

  12. how do i put a logo in the header (under h1) of the renownedmint theme.

    thanks luke

    • You would have to modify the header.php file and the style.css files. Specifically you would remove the site heading and just stick an image in there, and then you’d have to modify the padding in that area so the image fits.
