Using TortoiseSVN with MediaTemple Subversion

Article on how to configure your TortoiseSVN client to access MediaTemple’s subversion repositories:

www.vesic.org – Dejan on Technology ยป How to use TortoiseSVN to access Mediatemple subversion over svn+ssh.

We’ve been using BeanstalkSVN as a Subversion server to host our projects, and have been using the $15/mo option. However, MediaTemple allows you to use your web hosting server as a Subversion server as well, even when using the $20/mo GridServer (gs) option. Sounds like a great deal to me.

Of course MediaTemple won’t offer the same pretty interface for SVN repositories that BeanstalkSVN offers, however it is a great deal if one is already using their hosting for web hosting.

We’ll probably be canceling our BeanstalkSVN account and switching over to MediaTemple for SVN hosting real soon.
