DEPRECATED: This post may no longer be relevant or contain industry best-practices.

Hey there! I'm a Software Engineer, Musician, Story Teller, Blogger, Public Speaker, and most importantly, an Indie Game Developer.

I've created several games in the past, almost always written using web technologies. A lot of people think that HTML5 isn't powerful enough to run a mobile game, but when I show them a fullscreen game running at 60fps, they usually change their tune ;).

I would like to use Patreon to validate a few assumptions of mine: That people are interested in paying for games other than painful micro-transactions and Loot Boxes, that people are interested in posts about everything related to game development (music creation, live ops/CMS/Analytics, sourcing graphics, etc), and that people are interested in high quality, zero-DRM, original music.

Check out patreon.com/tlhunter if you're interested in helping funding my hobbies, or if you'd like early access to technical articles / tutorials on technologies related to game development. Posts on Patreon will eventually be made available here on thomashunter.name.
